Pre-Design

1. •    Review initial proposals and identify design or construction issues
   

2. •    Provide advice on performance criteria and outline costs
   

3. •    Provide advice on cost and programme risks
   

4. •    Provide advice on selection of other consultants and key suppliers

Design

1. •    Undertake technical audit of design proposals to identify construction or technical issues
   

2. •    Provide detailed briefing requirements for specialist areas such as kitchens and bars.
   

3. •    Provide advice on building control/ environmental services requirements and potential solutions
   

4. •    Provide advice on selection of specialist consultants and suppliers
   

5. •    Liaise with potential hotel operator or design team to establish their requirements.
   

6. •    Provide advice on scope for integrating energy saving measures into design
   

7. •    Review or propose alternative technical solutions to achieve compliance.

Construction & Completion

1. •    Undertake regular site inspections to review quality of workmanship, compliance with design and identify any issues that may present an operational or long term maintenance issue.
   

2. •    Liaise with design team to agree alternative proposals
   

3. •    Assist with the co-ordination of client supplied items and FF&E
   

4. •    Undertake snagging review and agree acceptable quality standards with client
